This wooden fire station from Plan Toys is made from replenishable rubberwood which is hard wearing and smooth to the touch.
The fire station comes complete with two vehicles, a fire engine complete with a lift for access to tall buildings and a fire truck.
There is also a fireman who will fit into the lift, ready to rescue people from burning buildings or the odd adventurous cat. 

The big red button can be pressed to ring the bell and get the fire crew ready for action.
The front door can be raised to let the vehicles into the station or out.
