Kids Toy World aim to provide a complete, personal and prompt service to all our customers.

 
ORDERING AND DELIVERY INFORMATION
 
When proceeding to the checkout customers are obliged to choose a delivery zone that applies to their delivery address, not necessarily the billing address. 
 
These prices are based on packages up to 20kg. If a package weighs more than this and needs to be sent in 2 boxes we will have to charge for each box sent.

Overseas Orders

We welcome orders from overseas and regularly deliver toys to the America, Canada, Australia and the rest of Europe. If you are wishing to place an order from overseas then please contact us and we would be happy to supply you with a delivery quote.

UK Mainland Delivery

Destinations outside the EU may be subject to import duty. Import duty is not included in our prices and is the responsibility of the customer.

 
Our free delivery is sent through Royal Mail standard delivery DHL or Interparcel . All orders placed under £45.00 will be charged the standard Royal Mail delivery charge of £5.99

We can ship next day or special delivery, please contact us and we will advise you of the cost for this service.
 
We endeavour to process your order as quickly as possible and will usually despatch your goods within 5 to 7 days of receiving the order (subject to receiving satisfactory payment). If an item is out of stock we shall inform you and advise you of the expected delivery time. We may contact you by telephone so please ensure that you have provided us a daytime contact number. By placing an order you confirm that you have provided us the correct billing address of your debit/credit card and the correct delivery address.
 
We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery caused by our suppliers or by any other third party. Hence we cannot be liable for an item that fails to arrive by a required date.
- Delivery to mainland United Kingdom postcodes, excluding Scottish Highlands for one or multiple items is currently based on a set fee of £5.99. This fee will not change regardless of weight or shape/size of shipment.

Northern Ireland - Delivery to mainland Northern Ireland postcodes, excluding Offshore Islands for one or multiple items is currently based on a set fee of £9.99. This fee will not change regardless of weight or shape/size of shipment.  All shipments to Northern Ireland are based on a minimum 2-day Land & Sea sevice from date of shipping.

Offshore Islands & Scottish Highlands
- Delivery to postcodes from offshore islands or Scottish Highlands for one or multiple items is currently based on a set fee of £14.99. This fee will not change regardless of weight or shape/size of shipment.  All shipments to Offshore Islands and Scottish Highlands are based on a minimum 2-day Land & Sea sevice from date of shipping.

Offshore Island's include the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Outer Hebrides, Isles of Scilly, etc.  We are unable to deliver to UK dependencies such as Gibraltar.  

Scottish Highlands shipping charges are defined by the postcode locations: PH19-44, 50, IV, KW, PA20-88, KA27-28 and HS. 
 
PAYMENT
 
We accept credit/debit card payments online.
Goods will only be dispatched once full payment has been received and cleared.
 
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
 
We aim to describe each product as accurately as possible. However, where products are individually hand crafted, this may cause the materials, design and colour to vary from those illustrated. Consequently we cannot be held responsible for any changes to the final product as a result of the above.
 
PASSING OF RISK
 
The risk in the goods shall be passed to you upon delivery of the product. Our liability in relation to delivery will end at this stage. However we will always retain the title to the goods until payment for the goods has been received at our office and any funds cleared, where applicable.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE GOODS UPON DELIVERY. WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY CLAIM FOR DAMAGED GOODS UNLESS NOTIFIED TO US WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ACCEPTING DELIVERY. THIS CONDITION IS IMPOSED BY OUR CARRIERS.
GOODS MUST BE RETURNED IN THIER ORIGINAL PACKAGING. POSTAGE WILL ONLY BE REFUNDED ONCE WE HAVE RECEIVED THE DAMAGED ITEM AND CHECKED THAT IT HAS NOT BEEN DAMAGED IN PLAY.
 
CANCELLATION RIGHTS
 
CHANGE OF MIND

We are fully compliant with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) Act 2000, which allows for a 2 day “cooling off” period. If you decide to return an item due to change of mind then you must contact us anytime up to 2 working days starting the day after delivery. Once we have confirmed that the goods can be returned, you must ensure that the item returned is unused and in perfect re-saleable condition with all the original packaging and instructions, otherwise we will be unable to refund you. Upon satisfactory receipt of the goods we will issue a refund for the cost of the goods only. EXCLUDING ANY DELIVERY CHARGES THAT YOU HAVE PAID. You will also be responsible for the cost of returning the item back to us. We strongly recommend that you obtain a “proof of postage” certificate (free of charge) as this will be required in the event of making a claim against Royal Mail for lost or damaged returns.
 
DAMAGED GOODS
 
Our policy on returns does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. If the goods are received damaged then we will offer you a full refund or if you prefer an alternative product.
Please note that you must notify us of the damage WITHIN 24 HOURS OF ACCEPTING DELIVERY. We are unable to entertain any claim for damaged goods after this time.
 
We will then decide the most cost affective method for returning the product back to us. Once we have decided the method of return we shall pay for the reasonable return carriage of the goods. When returning an item back to us please enclose all the packaging, instructions, leaflets etc that came with the product, together with a brief explanation of the fault.
 
GENERAL
 
We reserve the right to alter our terms and conditions, products and prices without giving prior notice. It is your responsibility to check whether there has been any variation to any of our terms and conditions.
 
Kids Toy World will attempt to ensure that the details on the website are accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that our website is free of any discrepancies. We do not make any warranties that our site is free of viruses or other disruptive properties. We therefore cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions.
 
All warranties, whether made expressly or by implication in respect of this website or the content, information or products included in the website including, without limitation, warranties regarding merchantability and fitness for specific purpose are hereby excluded as far as permitted by law. This does not affect your statutory rights.
 
Our liability in contract, negligence, tort, pre-contract or other representations or otherwise arising in connection with the supply or contemplated supply of goods shall be limited in aggregate to all the sums paid by you to us. We cannot be held liable for any consequential or indirect loss, whether this is loss of business, profits, or damages of any kind whatsoever in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of the use of our website or the products and services offered. Nothing in these purchase terms shall exclude limit liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or fraudulent misrepresentation. 
Our terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Kids Toy World maintains very high standards for the protection of your privacy over the internet. The purpose of this statement is to explain what information we collect and how we deal with it.
 
We only use the information we collect about you lawfully. We aim to safeguard the privacy of all our users while providing a high quality of personal customer service.
 
When you buy goods from us, we ask for information such as name, e-mail address, delivery address, contact details and credit/debit card details. We keep a record of some information so that we can recognise you as a registered customer and fulfil your orders as efficiently a possible. We do not keep a record of your credit or debit card details.
 
We keep a record of your purchases with us so that we can deal a lot quicker with any queries you may experience with your order.
 
We keep a record of any e-mail correspondence you send us. This helps us to identify and reply to any problems or concerns with our product or services.
 
We do not sell or disclose any information obtained about you to anyone outside of our company, unless it is required by law, or disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of customers, employees or property. We do not send unsolicited e-mails or use any of your personal details for marketing purposes.

WEEE Regulations:
 
The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.
 
The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.
 
·         Recycling reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.  
 
J & A Developments Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.
 
   Customers must return their like-for-like WEEE item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item.
 
Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.
